01 Registration Fees & Payment Gateway

Registration fees for HORIZON 2K26 are ₹350 per participant. Payments are collected securely online through our authorized payment aggregator, Cashfree Payments, supporting UPI, credit cards, debit cards, and net banking.

Upon successful payment verification, team registration is immediately confirmed and a digital admission receipt with unique team credentials is generated.

02 Cancellation by Participant or Team

Registration fees are non-refundable once payment is completed. Because seating capacity is strictly capped at Kamarajar Auditorium, hackathon welcome kits are ordered immediately, and catering logistics are provisioned based on registration counts, we cannot offer refunds for voluntary cancellations.

If your team is unable to attend in person on October 9–10, 2026, please inform the organizing committee as early as possible so that the slot may be released to teams on the waiting list.

03 Team Member Substitution

If an individual team member cannot attend due to an emergency or academic scheduling conflict, the team leader may request a member substitution:

Deadline: Substitution requests must be submitted at least 7 days prior to the event (by October 2, 2026).
Process: Email techforce@aaacet.ac.in with your Team Code, the departing member’s name, and the replacement member’s full name, email, phone number, and college ID.
Fees: There is no fee or surcharge for approved member substitutions.

04 Cancellation or Rescheduling by Organizers

In the unlikely event that HORIZON 2K26 is cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., government directives, natural disasters, or institutional emergency):

Full Refund: A 100% full refund of the registration fee will be issued to all confirmed teams.
Processing: Refunds will be credited back automatically to the original payment source (UPI ID, card, or bank account) within 7 to 10 working days from the official cancellation announcement.

05 Payment Failures & Double Deductions

If money is debited from your bank account or UPI app but the HORIZON 2K26 portal shows a failed status or payment timeout:

The payment gateway and your bank will automatically reconcile the transaction. Debited funds are typically refunded to your source account within 5 to 7 working days.
If you were charged multiple times for the same team entry, any duplicate charges will be refunded upon verification.
To expedite resolution, email your bank transaction reference ID, order ID, and screenshot to techforce@aaacet.ac.in.
